Heute Morgen hat das Parlament die Legalisierung von Marihuana zu Genusszwecken endg\u00fcltig beschlossen und ist damit nach Uruguay das zweite Land weltweit, das diesen Schritt unternimmt.<\/p>\n

Der Senat hat den Gesetzentwurf zur Legalisierung von Marihuana f\u00fcr den Freizeitgebrauch vor einigen Wochen verabschiedet, er ben\u00f6tigt aber noch die Zustimmung des Repr\u00e4sentantenhauses.<\/p>\n

Die Legalisierung des Freizeitkonsums von Marihuana war ein Wahlversprechen von Premierminister Justin Truedeau, und nach siebenmonatigen Debatten wurde es nun Realit\u00e4t.<\/p>\n

Der legale Cannabismarkt wird voraussichtlich in einem Zeitraum von acht bis zw\u00f6lf Wochen, also Mitte September, bereit sein.<\/p>\n

Gesundheitsministerin Ginette Petitpas Taylor sagte, dass die Provinzen nach Verabschiedung des Gesetzes zwei bis drei Monate ben\u00f6tigen werden, bevor sie bereit sind, das neue legalisierte Cannabisregime umzusetzen.<\/p>\n

Jeder Haushalt darf maximal vier Marihuana-Pflanzen zum Freizeitgebrauch anbauen.<\/h2>\n

Senator Tony Dean bezeichnete dies als \u201cbahnbrechende Sozialpolitik\u201d und \u201cmutigen Schritt der Regierung\u201d. Kanada k\u00f6nne nun \u201ceinige der sch\u00e4dlichen Auswirkungen von Cannabis angehen\u201d und \u201cin der \u00f6ffentlichen Aufkl\u00e4rung proaktiv vorgehen\u201d. \u201dWir werden die Kriminalisierung beenden und k\u00f6nnen Kanadas illegalen Markt mit einem Volumen von 7 Milliarden Dollar bek\u00e4mpfen.\u201c.<\/p>\n
