Course to learn how to grow marijuana at the University
The course to learn how to grow marijuana will be held at the National University of Colombia and is titled “Course on cultivation and medicinal and cosmetic use of cannabis”.
Registration will be open until August 18, 2017, and the course will begin on Saturday, August 26, 2017, and will consist of 40 hours of instruction. Students will learn the necessary concepts for cultivating marijuana and making cannabis oils and ointments.
According to agricultural engineer Javier Roberto Hidalgo, the course consists of 40 percent theory and 60 percent practice. Professor Hidalgo, one of the course instructors, also stated: “The legalization of cannabis is near, but, as always, the knowledge needed to take advantage of it is in the hands of Europeans and North Americans. The idea behind the course is to share that knowledge.”.
The cost of registration includes marijuana seeds, two mature plants, and cannabis cultivation materials.
The aim is to cultivate marijuana to demonstrate its medicinal potential.
This news is undoubtedly generating a great deal of controversy, but the course has been well received, also because it is becoming legal in more and more countries.
The aim is not to encourage marijuana consumption but to showcase the medicinal potential of the plant and demonstrate marijuana cultivation techniques adapted to the Colombian ecosystem.
