The auction was organized by Stone Road Farms, a well-known Los Angeles startup specializing in organic, hand-rolled marijuana cigarettes. The starting price was €20,000, but the joint ultimately sold for €4,000.
The auction was organized to raise funds for the African Wildlife Foundation, an NGO that protects the African ecosystem and the survival of its species. The money raised will be used to stop elephant poaching and combat the ivory trade.

The joint designed by Weabers weighs over half a kilo, measures 76 cm, and is shaped like an elephant's horn. This shape was chosen to reflect the cause being supported at the event and also for its practicality in smoking.
It was made with 24-karat gold foil. It contains 450 grams of marijuana, 56 grams of bubble hush (cannabis concentrate made with ice water), and 170 grams of tobacco.
