Famous actor Woody Harrelson will open one of the first marijuana dispensaries in Hawaii.

The Hawaii Department of Health received 66 applications for dispensary permits and published them on its website last Friday. One of these applications, in Honolulu County, belongs to Simple Organic Living, a company owned by Woody Harrelson. If the documentation submitted by the applicants is correct, the state will grant the dispensary licenses next April, with openings planned for July.

It is groundbreaking that an actor is promoting this type of establishment.
