TAHOE BILBO: The soul of the west coast in every puff.
Originating in the Sierra Nevada mountains and bathed by the waters of Lake Tahoe, from which it takes its name, on the border between the states of California and Nevada, comes one of the most authentic grape varieties in the USA. A proud heir to the lineage OG Kush, It represents, like few others, the pure spirit of Californian cannabis.
With a carefully selected genetic composition aimed at offering a sweet and deeply relaxing aromatic profile, this creation represents the excellent work of David Merino over many years with some of the most admired Afghan varieties in the world.
ORIGIN AND CROSSING
This genetic makeup is the result of crossing between OG Kush and a particularly vigorous selection of SFV OG (San Fernando Valley OG). The combination of these two potent varieties resulted in an indica-dominant strain from which a very stable and resinous phenotype was selected, with the perfect balance between indica potency and subtly sativa citrus nuances.
It was selected in the mid-2000s by growers in the Lake Tahoe area who were looking for a stronger and more stable version of the mythical OG Kush.
Thanks to the high-altitude climate, with cold nights and short summers, and the excellent work of those breeders committed to maintaining the genetic purity of the OG original, who managed to shape a robust and resistant phenotype, which has not only withstood the test of time, but has established itself as a timeless classic.
ASPECT
Growing this strain is a very rewarding experience. While it does require some attention to the growing environment, it responds very well in the hands of experienced or intermediate growers. It's an indica-dominant variety (70% – 30%) with a robust structure, medium internodal spacing, and produces compact, heavy, and resin-laden buds. It's a fast-flowering plant, taking between 60 and 70 days to reach yields of up to 600 grams per square meter indoors.
AROMA AND FLAVOR
The scent of our Tahoe Bilbo It's an intense blend of fresh lemon, wood, and damp earth, instantly transforming into a deep and penetrating aromatic experience. On the palate, the flavor is equally powerful, with a citrusy and spicy note that lingers long after each puff.
EFFECT
The effect is what will truly captivate you about this strain. It begins with a cerebral rush of relief and serenity, then immerses you in a state of intense physical relaxation, perfect for disconnecting, relieving stress, or simply letting go in moments of calm. It's not a light strain; it's potent, long-lasting, and very resinous. Without a doubt, an ideal strain for extractions.
Tahoe Bilbo Genehtik Seeds' strain is more than a tribute to OG Kush; it's its most refined, most intense, and deeply Californian version.
A cult strain that has traveled from the mountains of Nevada to the hands of David Merino, breeder at Genehtik Seeds for over 25 years and creator, among others, of the legendary elite clone of Critical Bilbo, to inject it with that unmistakable stamp Bilbo that the most demanding growers require from our seeds.
If you're looking for a classic with presence, depth, and an unmistakable American flavor, Tahoe Bilbo by Genehtik Seeds It's your next must-see stop. Because there are a lot of OGs on the market, and then there's our Tahoe Bilbo.
