Israeli startup Seedo has announced the creation of the world's first automated cannabis farm. It's a modular system that allows for large-scale cannabis cultivation.<\/p>\n

How an automated marijuana farm works<\/h2>\n

Automated farming with robots and computers is designed to follow very specific guidelines. This increases the likelihood of a good harvest.<\/p>\n

The marijuana plant is cultivated for specific properties, whether medicinal or recreational. This makes its cultivation very demanding and labor-intensive. Therefore, automating production allows for greater control over the parameters needed to achieve the desired product.<\/p>\n

The farm is the size of a shipping container, making it ideal for transport. The plants are constantly monitored by surveillance cameras. This allows for the creation of a microclimate, controlling their growth and environmental conditions such as temperature and humidity at all times.<\/p>\n

Robotic arms are used to control the physical tasks of cultivation, such as moving the pots from place to place.<\/p>\n

These farms are capable of producing 160 kg of cannabis per year.<\/p>\n

To have a farm like this, you need a place where marijuana is legal. That's why these farms are located in Israel.<\/p>\n
