This is the first lawsuit filed against a cannabis company in the United States.<\/p>\n<p>The lawsuit was filed alleging the use of pesticides in their product, specifically Eagle 20. The plants allegedly affected by this product were sold in Colorado.<\/p>\n<p>Eagle 20 is a pesticide used against pests and contains hydrogen cyanide among other substances.<\/p>\n<p>The two consumers use marijuana for therapeutic purposes and have stated that they would not have used the product had they known.<\/p>\n<p>Flores told the Los Angeles Times:<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab&quot;I want these companies to take a step back and look at what they&#039;re putting into their products.&quot;.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab&quot;They&#039;re adding chemicals to make things more efficient and more powerful. But they have so many chemicals now that it might be better to get prescription drugs.&quot;.<\/p>\n<p>LivWell, on the other hand, denies using the product, although it admitted to using it against pests.
