L&#039;elevata umidit\u00e0 favorisce lo sviluppo di questi insetti. All&#039;aperto sono rare a causa delle condizioni meteorologiche.<\/p>\n<p>L&#039;elevata umidit\u00e0 e la temperatura sono i fattori determinanti per lo sviluppo dall&#039;uovo all&#039;adulto. A 25 \u00b0C, sono necessari circa venti giorni per completare lo sviluppo, mentre a 20 \u00b0C ne occorrono circa quaranta.<br \/>\nLo sviluppo di questi organismi fitofagi \u00e8 legato all&#039;elevata umidit\u00e0 dei substrati.<\/p>\n<p>Un&#039;infestazione di grandi proporzioni pu\u00f2 svilupparsi in poche settimane, poich\u00e9 una femmina adulta di moscerino dei funghi pu\u00f2 deporre centinaia di uova in condizioni favorevoli durante il suo ciclo vitale.<\/p>\n<h2>Danni causati dalle mosche fungine<\/h2>\n<p>La fase pi\u00f9 dannosa per le piante di cannabis \u00e8 quella larvale. In determinate condizioni, questa fase pu\u00f2 durare fino a trenta giorni. Durante questo periodo, le larve si nutrono di peli radicali e radici, impedendo alla pianta di svolgere le sue funzioni fisiologiche. Di conseguenza, compaiono sintomi come clorosi, necrosi delle punte delle foglioline e appassimento. Questi sintomi sono spesso associati all&#039;infestazione da questo insetto, ma la diagnosi pu\u00f2 talvolta essere confusa con altre carenze nutrizionali.<\/p>\n<p>Un altro effetto di queste mosche si pu\u00f2 osservare nell&#039;apparato radicale, che spesso assume una colorazione pi\u00f9 giallastra o brunastra.<\/p>\n<p>Le larve rimangono nel substrato vicino alle radici e al colletto, ma nei casi pi\u00f9 gravi possono nutrirsi anche di altre parti della pianta, come i tessuti interni del fusto.<\/p>\n<p>Oltre ai danni diretti causati dai moscerini dei funghi, questi insetti sono anche importanti vettori di altri agenti patogeni, come i funghi. Molti funghi radicali e vascolari approfittano delle ferite provocate dalle larve e, in definitiva, uccidono le piante di cannabis.
